I compile a program with a .so in Linux with GNU compiler and linker, and then I run my excutable, when/how does it find and link the .so with my program?

I'm sorry, but it actually is incredibly stupid. I've gone through all the hoops to stop foolish warnings like this. I've verified my age, I've turned off safeties, I don't require or wish to have any of these warnings because I'm not a child, nor do any use my account. I don't require any parental controls or warnings, it's a waste of my time to click through several screens to watch a video, and I know what I'm 'letting myself in for' because I clicked on the video to watch it in the first place.
