Why is PHP so good? It's really popular and can get you work so easily! I've nearly passed the level 2 PHP5 exam on freelancer! I love how it mikes the HTML with code to simplify development and reduce keystrokes. :)

The fact that like you said it easy to program mean it is good, if you can write plain English on it, it is even better!
