What is this place, even?

People on /g/ keep telling me to come here when I want to discuss programming, but this place is so bizarre.

Scroll down a few pages and you find people making nonsensical replies to threads that are over 7 years old, possibly without even knowing it.

Do you people actually hang out here, or do people only come here whenever they're reminded of this board's existence?

I'm not supposed to tell you this, but I will because I'm a nice guy. This is actually gay hook-up board,and all the seemingly nonsensical stuff posted is gay lingo
