Thinkpad laptops were used to be appropiate for the work, until the X220, Now there's no choice anymore. Just macbook clones, with soldered RAM and horrible input device design. I mean, 8GB max ram???? WTF. That's not a machine for a professional developer is just a nice toy for an executive. That's why they are focusing more on looks than functionality now.
