Using ``gigs'' of RAM? What happened to old fashioned K, ``GNOME''sayin? It's all those bloated Window Managers. Windows 3.x and Mac System 6 got along fine with < 1 MB RAM. Who needs 3D shrinking windows and all that crap? I don't. Make your window manager fast enough and you won't need any resize or minimize animations.
