Networking book?

Can anyone recommend a good book on networking, maybe a student or a professional? I build websites, and I hate fumbling around with cnames, DNS, MX record without really knowing what I'm effecting.

Also, how do you know about shit like this? Did someone email you that memo? Have you read it? I have so many questions.
