Stopping necrospam

Moot needs to implement the Anti-Necro fix from https://dis.4chan.org/read/prog/1378179410
You can't stop it with captcha. Its either bump age limits or reduced bump power.
Plus fix the new thread form(i currently can use it via extension script).

Captcha was really the wrong course of action to take when a single disgruntled /prog/lodyte recently had a temper tantrum because of ``le e/g/in /g/ros'' and turned on his spam bot on multiple machines, but really, if MrVacBob (does he even have anything to do with world4ch anymore?) or some global moderator would actually come to /prog/ every now and then, they could deal with the very few spam incidents pretty easily. Spammers on /prog/ get bored after a while, even when they know how to evade bans and automate spam. And punishing the average user for what a few bad eggs do isn't the right kind of model here.

The text boards don't need really anal moderation, just someone who will delete spam, and only spam, and ban the spammers. Make a new dedicated /prog/ mod or janitor and have them only deal with spammers. The problem with a lot of global moderators who spend a vast majority of their time on the image boards is that they don't really understand what is or isn't acceptable here. When the people who enforce the rules aren't even actively engaging in the community they're moderating, that's a big problem.


I necro-bumped the threadstopped threads to show that captcha won't solve anything. If someone's determined enough, they'll do it. Besides, you can pay for captcha solvers. It's like $1/1000 solved captchas, or something ridiculously cheap like that. Although many regulars here are pretty autistic, many are actual programmers and, big surprise, have jobs, so paying for 1,000 captchas per day would be nothing. $30 a month for some angry nostalgic user to spam world4ch into oblivion because it's not ``like the good old days'' or something.

TL;DR we need a new dedicated anti-spam only mod, not captcha.
