mysql

Im making a video streaming site for someone, he want to upload videos so that they appear on front page and in categories, i have made a php video uploading page, but i dont know what to do with mysql since i have never used it.
Should i use mysql? one anon told me to use it, the other one said not to

I think you should store a videoid->filename list in it
