Java EE vs Ruby on Rails

Enterprise Java Servlets and Ruby on Rails are two very different technologies. They are both for making web shit.

If you'd had to pick either one, which one would you like more (or hate less), and why?

I'd take RoR, because Rails is decent framework for web dev, and Ruby gives programmer much more freedom and doesn't require so much boilerplate code.

I'd take FIOC, because between a bucket of expensive elephant diarrhea, a box of festering horse shit, and a dog turd, I'd go for the latter (at least if I'm forced to pick one).
