0.Find the cheapest(non-secondhand) computer.
1.Compare its specs against your own computer.
2.Are the majority of characteristics x2 better(ram size,cpu benchmark score,etc)?
3.IF yes,buy the computer.
4.IF no,wait for next iteration of "cheapest computer" && repeat step 1.
This way you save a lot of money, while laughing at all the bleeding edge "enthusiasts" upgrading every six months for trivial gains.
