The important part is that you are able to make an alpha BBS, before worrying about how it will yield output. For now a simple BBS that outputs Text is fine, with the regular specifications of users, posting, filter post, update DB, post publicly, mod users, remove post, karma/voting?, etc. Later we can implement better features like, attachments, rss or atom or JSON or L_ispON feeds, actual code parsers, editing old post, pools?, wiki like pastebin, etc..

Actually, before you even start playing, do you have a design of what you want to accomplish I can see? I would like to see the BBS design draft.
