Got a promotion and a raise

Programming for the [u]ENTERPRISE[u] ain't always easy or fun, but at least it pays. Got promoted to a senior position today!

I think it's because I told my Jew boss a /prauge/ joke while simultaneously placating his ego. His surname is Rosenthal, so at a company reception on Saturday, we were talking about some of the products we're working on, and the upcoming prototype of one new product came up and I said we'd make sure it was ``Rosenthal-good,'' which made him chuckle. Three days later, I get promoted!

ENTERPRISE iPhone app ``developer'' here. I don't get the stigma. It's more fun than anything else I could be doing and I make more money than I would otherwise. If I weren't programming I'd probably be washing dishes at some restaurant and I certainly don't have the people skills to work my way up in dining or retail. I think these neets read too much into Dilbert and Office Space without realizing the industry has changed and hackers are more respected than ever. Yes, non-free software is immoral, but no more so than fapping to loli all day.
