Care to help a soul

Hi guise! Well Im not happy with current job, so a friend of mine suggested since I love being in front of a monitor and read with no mercy all day, that I should be working as a programmer. So reading a little about the subject I decided to develop first a good ability in html/css/jscript. Make some money as web developer and then go to real programming language.
So my question is, where is the best place, best ebook, best video course on html?
I know the most basic of programming logic (if, while, variables).
Thanks in advance for your precious time.

No[1], you will be marked as a /g/ user and asked to leave. Asking beginner questions is exactly what StackOverflow was made for, and you'll have a bunch of professional programmers to answer your question without giving you stupid advice and derailing your threads. They put their social media accounts on their resume or something, so they will be eager to help you. If you absolutely must post your simple questions here, it should be presented in a ridiculous manner, so as to disguise your ignorance.

In addition, please note the following: Anything that follows the form of `/polecat kebabs/' or `/le backseat bop/' is likely an anagram of a phrase directing you to leave. Do not ask why this is done; the answer has been lost in the annals of time. This is usually a sign of a bad thread. Feel free to ignore it, or mock the poster doing it, or mock the poster mocking the poster doing it.
