I was told that I would be wearing horribly unstylish glowing outfits, defeating evil master control programs with frisbees. It didn't happen.

I was told that I would be playing chess with burger king hamburgers that could launch nukes. It didn't happen.

I was told that I would be hacking into corporate mainframes and stopping embezzlers and become a hero. It didn't happen.

I was told that I would be making robots that would come to life when struck by lightning. It didn't happen.

I was told that I would be hypnotized by fat therapist and go to work in construction. It didn't happen.

I was told that I would make a cockload of people give me their data and sell it for billions. It didn't happen.

I was never told that I would be an office drone, writing boring shit for the ENTERPRISE, but it happened.

Why, /prog/? Why is life so bitter?
