Globalization patterns tell us that the race for the cheapest places possible, while the skill provided need be only great enough to still remain profitable, however marginally so. Wages are rising in India and China. The return on investment has greatly diminished since the offshoring trend began. There is, however, one large, untapped reservoir of cheap labor remaining in the work: Africa. Already the large economic powers are demanding the formerly ignored continent to stabilize and open their labor markets to foreign interests. The leaders of those countries are very interested in rapidly modernizing their economies in a manner like that of China and India. The obvious trend is to begin moving jobs to Africa when the chips fall where they may. It would be a prudent decision to take advantage of this new market while the African natives will still work for cheap wages.

so the world is now divided into the Five Eyes coalition, the Yuropian Younion, and East Asia + Russia, all with strong economies and increasingly authoritarian governance (okay maybe not north yurop but who gives a shit about less than 10M people). and all of them are using the Middle East and Africa for exploitationhumanitarianism with a tinge of assfuckingtheft friendly commercial exchange of minerals as well as [s]slavery[/b] a source of dirt cheap labor.
Africa is not a market that you buy goods from. It's a market where you dump all your excess corn, clothes, guns, and useless college students, so as to not upset internal markets, in exchange for diamonds. Nothing gets improved there, so no wealth is ever actually created.
