1. Single upvote(bump) take the thread to the frontpage, regardless of age. New posts appear on the frontpage like /r/sub/new.
2. Users cannot directly downvote threads, one sage does nothing.
3. To remove a thread(a form of downvoting), you have to sage it to the post limit(and it will stay on the front page until other threads push it down). Such practice can also silence threads any single poster didn't like.
4. You can't create subreddits, the owner decides whats popular.
5. You can make threads popular by replying to yourself, which also pushes it to the frontpage.
6. There are no captchas to submit links or posts. Makes it easy to automate anything you do.
7. There is no inhibition to make bad posts/replies.
8. if YHBT, thats just like your opinion man: downvote me at your own peril.
