SICP IS BACK PROG

Name: Anonymous 2013-06-17 3:16

Yes, with all of the LEGENDARY SHIT POSTERS on here, the whithered spirit of SICP may have kept alive; but this is not good enough.  There needs to be a great awakening, a revival, when someone decides that they've had enough of the lack of classical computing in this day and age, when someone decides For Dummies books are literally for dummies, when someone decides that they need to take a stand, and complete SICP.

I want you all to ignore the site, because none of you are seeking the services offered there, but do I want you to consider joining.  All we are doing is reading a chapter or so of SICP a week, and completing the excercises.  It doesn't matter whether you have not read, are reading, or have read it, this should help re-invigorate the old (autistic) programming spirit.  If you are interested:

I hope to see you there,

Hopefully Thursday, I will have it all set up and announced.

aboutus.html talks a little about that.  We were already there, and figured we would do an SICP workshop just for the fun of it.

I have, in fact, read all of SICP.  I neglected to do all of the excercises, and that seems to be the meat fun of the book.

If you like the sound of it, show up.  If you don't, don't attend.  I just wanted to publish some news on this board.  I didn't mean to offend any of the older members.  This will be my last post.

Thanks again to you who are participating,
