Programmers in prog?

Why the fuck people in /prog did not talk about programming?. One time I asked a question in /sci and they send me here,  but the most of themes here are of stuff alien to programming I:.

I'm sick and it is only my imagination?
I will going to die?

I develop and maintain very simple in-house finance-related software for a business with a severe case of ``not invented here'' syndrome.

A high school student could do the shit I do.

I come to /prog/ to shitpost because it's fun. Programming is depressing.
