Algorithm for homemade pancakes

Name: Anonymous 2013-04-30 21:47

1. Mix the following ingredients in a bowl to form the batter:

1 1/2 cups of flour
3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 tablespoon white or brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups of milk
3 tablespoons butter
1 egg

2. Let batter stand in bowl for 10-15 minutes to allow carbon dioxide bubbles to form from the baking powder.
3. Meanwhile, heat frying pan or griddle to medium-high temperature. Make sure to grease pan with butter, unless it's a non-stick pan.
4. Once batter is ready and pan is heated to right temperature, pour batter in the middle of the pan to form a cake of the appropriate dimensions (should be less than the radius of your pan).
5. Flip the cake over with a spatula when bubbles form on it's upright surface and the edge begins to harden.
6. Continue cooking until the steam rising off of the cake significantly drops off. Make sure to check underside to ensure it's cooked adequately or so that it doesn't burn.
7. Remove from the pan and put it on a plate.
8. Repeat Steps 4-7 until you are out of batter.
9. Add butter and syrup to taste.
10. Pray to the Sussman for allowing you to feed yourself.

What's your excuse for not making homemade pancakes?

This "algorithm" is too ambiguous to be executed by a Turing Machine, begone.
