I wish I had a job programming again. What I did before could have been replaced with Excel, but now I'm reduced to writing shell scripts to do sysadmin shit. And I thought I hated my job before.

Yeah, working as a programmer is not very fun. It's like
writing rewriting someone else's string manipulation functions for fifty hours a week while the clueless people who sign your paycheck constantly change the requirements. Maybe it's better as a senior programmer.
