Worse is the redefinition of *isms to conflate large-scale phenomenons and small/local events. The proper (and original) definition of sexism is discrimination by gender or by sex. That of racism is discrimination by race or by ethnicity. Saying that sexism perpetrated by females against males is not sexism is beyond bigoted and hypocritical, it is outright hateful. Bringing up large-scale phenomenons such as privilege into the discussion of a small-scale event is a logical fallacy that has become so common (in certain circles) that nobody seems to bother questioning it. Oh cruel irony that they have become what they hated most, hateful bigoted short-tempered and entitled individuals.
