how do I get smarter?

does /prog/ ever have learners' block?  I feel difficulty in grasping ``advanced'' concepts recently, like derivatives (dx), fractals, and some of the more advanced concepts in Haskell.

They'd be disgusted, obviou- oh, I see your point. But then you'd have to take "pedophilephobia" into account. Being homophobic and not being into men are two different things, or so it seems.
