Javascript: Why is it bad?

I see a lot of hate for it here and am wondering why

because /prog/ is full of retards

they're just going to have to suffer when their legacy languages like c and lisp become useless within a couple of years

they think projects like asm.js are a joke. we'll see who gets the last laugh. i'm quite confident it won't be /prog/

also, don't get me started on those obnoxious lua and python faggots. they cry all day that their toy jits were such an embarrassment to the profession that they were removed from the alioth shootout

you know what? good riddance. javascript is used for REAL programs, not toy fibs() benchmarks

oh and one more thing: haskellfags, look at typescript. game over.
