Need a decent IDE.

I want to do some very light-level stuff in Java, and I think JCreator is well past its prime.

I cobble together a lot of scripts for junk, and I like being able to just hit "compile and run," use my program, quit it, mess with the code, and repeat the process.

So, what does Anonymous recommend?

I'm sorry, but the only permanent solution is Eclipse. You can use NetBeans, though, if you want to be a baby forever.

Don't listen to trolls suggesting text editors; they're too young to actually have a voice in the text editor holy wars.
