What's better: QWERTY or Dvorak?

Keyboards? Ha! I use voice recognition software DAMMIT JOHNNY STOP TALKING TO YOUR COMPUTER AND GET A JOB

using shortcuts with dvorak is hell if you're used to the qwerty ones. dvorak shortcuts are hell.

wish there was a layout which would switch to qwerty when a modifier key is pressed, without crutches like autohotkey.

Dvorak puts much much less strain on your wrists.  You'll have to switch to it eventually, so better do it while you're young and your brain can rewire itself.
