Rude people.

Name: Anonymous 2013-02-10 6:38

Why are the people here and programmers in general--very rude?

Name: Anonymous 2013-02-10 6:41

Fuck you, that's why.

Name: Anonymous 2013-02-10 6:43

Because you're shit at not being shit and we all know it.

Name: Anonymous 2013-02-10 6:51

I am rude here because people choose to post messages that are not about programming. Back to /lounge/, please.

Name: Anonymous 2013-02-10 6:54

I am not rude, I just have autism. Please be understanding.

Name: Anonymous 2013-02-12 15:59

Shit thread. Fuck you.

Name: Anonymous 2013-02-12 16:03

I'm not rude. I'm very submissive.

Name: Anonymous 2013-02-12 16:08

I only restrict my speech when talking to strangers or acquaintances in real life.  If you want to be my friend, deal with the obscenities.

Name: Anonymous 2013-02-12 16:11

Neurotypical non-programmers are idiots. When you have to explain to some faggot what the difference is between / and \ or how to find their downloads folder all the fucking time, you just want to kill yourself.

Name: Anonymous 2013-02-12 16:59

Because everyone here is a self-important little shit who thinks that other people should put up with them because they are so smart. You can extend that to the broader programming community.

Some of them probably do it defensively, preemptively driving people away because they can't deal with the feelings of rejection. Others just enjoy the ego boost. But most of them do it because it's accepted.

Anyway, these assholes are worth a lot less than they think.

Well, at least here on /prog/ we're occasionally creative with our self-important shitfuckery.

>>20
You specially.

And before you say anything, I'm venting my frustration over your shitty and disappointingly common attitudes you find here and everywhere else, not just being rude at the slightest opportunity.

Yeah, you programmers are all bastards, every single one of you.

Wait, wait, you guys mean ``rude'' as in being mean to people, not as in a liberal use of ``coloured language'' and a general disregard for social conventions when such are deemed unnecessary?  I thought the correct term for the former is ``asshole''.

Well, yeah, saying obscenities and being hyperbolic, or whatever other codes you have with your peers, is quite different from responding to everything with snark and telling people that they are idiots or worthless over any forum quibble as you see online all the time.

Saying words like ``shit'' and putting your elbows on the table when you are with your friend is not what we're talking about here.

i say 'shit' when your'e mom puts her legs in my shoulders

Oh, so ``rude'' is defined as ``being gratuitously shitty to people''?  I always thought the word ``asshole'' captured that notion a lot better, but no point of arguing over that since the fitness of word-concept associations is quite subjective.

Saying words like ``shit'' and putting your elbows on the table when you are with your friend is not what we're talking about here.
Right.  Then according to this definition, I am not ``rude'' at all.  How disappointing.
