First time I encountered XLisp inside one of these 9000 programs on a single CDs pirates, it had a few neural nets examples, some factorial crud and absolutely no manual how to use it, so obviously I havent recognized Lisp's power back then and wasnt interested in programming. After that I became interested in reimplementing Magic & Mayhem game. I already got strong dislike for C/C++, so was designing my own pattern matching language based on regexps, when some camwhore (Neko-chan) on now dead 2ch.ru/s/ mentioned Lisp and Refal in discussion on ObjC, dynamic-typing and C-macros/templates, so it was immediately became clear to me how it should work.
