HALP

I have a SOCKS5 proxy (specifically tor) setup on localhost:9050.  I'm trying to connect to it using low-level TCP libraries so I can get to an fonion site.  See it's weird because fonion sites don't have a specific IP that I can get.  So do I just connect to localhost with TCP then send it an HTTP request string?  THANK YOU, AND HAVE A WONDEFUL DAY.

It's not a HTTP proxy, it's a SOCKS5 proxy. Look it up.
