I agree. Maybe CL is too much, make one with only awk, fetch and the common set of UNIX utilities.

Still, I'd be interested in a nice awk/CL video downloader. In case you actually take an afternoon or a week-end to build that, would you share it?

Besides, don't you have perl (and python) as build dependencies, in which case, are you the kind of person who remove those dependencies? Just curious.
