Just got my first check in 6 weeks. $1644. Enough for three months of rent, but still, I feel like I'm being exploited. I could be doing the same work for $100/hr. if I had the confidence to demand it. </3

that's $200K annually. i doubt that any of /prog/rammers will ever have such high-paid job.

There aren't many programmers (even in the US) that make that sort of gross income. There are plenty of senior programmers, analysts and designers that command more than $100k.

I could be doing the same work for $100/hr.

If I had 100$/h I would only work five or six hours per week. What's the point of more?
