I have no one to ask for this except /prog/riders

I want to search for a thread from /news4vip/ 2ch from 2004.
Is there an archive or is it all lost? Is it possible to retrieve a single post from 8 years (even 9) old entry? I have no idea how 2ch works and archives posts. Please help.
