USB Devices in C#

Name: Anonymous 2012-12-24 16:04

I'm developing custom software for a USB Digital Microscope, adding functionality.
The microscope works as a webcam and is recognised as such.
What I need to do is to catch the button press event of the microscope.

What should I look for? I just want to know when the button is pressed.

I did google it, and most of what I've found is for USB HID devices, which is not my case.

The only thing that semi-worked is the usbsharplib.
The thing is that when I try to read data from the buffer, I get a BSOD; the device is detected properly.

I'm on Windows 8, not sure if that's the problem.
