You made the mistake of thinking that I think that Freemasonry is at the top of the pecking order. It's not. Certain Jewish banking families control everything. Freemasonry just became a means through which these Jews, over the course of many decades, have managed to subvert Western society at large. It wasn't always like this, Freemasonry had its beginnings as an organization with a noble goal and vision, but it was quickly infiltrated and it's power structures undermined by organized Jewry through the Bavarian Illuminati.
Today it is, for the most part, little more than a boring social club populated by old men, as you have observed. The Jews still use it to instill egalitarian & cosmopolitan ideology in its members, allowing them to draw from it obedient shabbos goyim willing to serve them from time to time, but such people are not told they are serving Jews. Instead they are manipulated into doing so, asked if they want to contribute in building a new global society that upholds liberté, égalité, fraternité, etc.
Now consider the fact that masons were openly involved in both the American and French revolutions. This is acknowledged by the institutions Freemasonry itself. These events took place before Freemasonry had be fully subordinated to the will of the Jewish banking families--although by the time of the French Revolution, this process of Jewish subversion, at least in Europe, was already well underway.
Lesser known is Freemasonry's involvement with aiding the rise of Marxism, Bolshevism, the October Revolution, the establishment of the Soviet Union, and the spread of International Communism. But no one, not even other Masons, deny that Leon Trotsky (aka Lev Davidovich Bronshtein) was a Jewish Mason, a member of B'nai B'rith, a Jew-only Masonic lodge. Or that the ranks of the Cheka were staffed by mostly Bolshevik Jews or foreign Freemasons who had entered the country to aid in the revolution.
Why are the Jews the only racial-religious identarian group with their own lodge in all of Freemasonry?
Of course, Freemasonry was officially outlawed in the Soviet
Union and low-level Masons and Jews were persecuted along with everyone else, but the Jewish bankers who were liquidating the Tsar's and the Russian people's assets didn't care, they saw Freemasonry as something that could be sacrificed to achieve their higher aim, just as they were willing to sacrifice their fellow poor Jews.
Interestingly, when the Soviet Union collapsed, many of the high-ranking communist apparatchiks were inducted into Freemasonry, even though they officially "opposed" it previously.
