Why you're still not using ed, the standard editor?

I installed CentOS in a VM a while back, my first Linux experience in a couple of years.  My face when it didn't come with ed in the base install, so I had to fumble around with vi.

So long as  you use a laptop with a nipple mouse, it's no more onerous than using the keyboard.
