knowing only java and c#? I just argued for half an hour with a code monkey in a dead end job, I told him to at least learn FIOC and he's like ".NET is le industry standard X-DDDD". God I hate porridgewogs.

He probably doesn't enjoy programming (with good reason—who could possibly enjoy this shit). Why should he know anything more than the bare minimum for his code monkey job? He wouldn't be rewarded for it.
