For a week or so in 2010 (I think?) a bunch of newfags on /b/ forced the ``epin'' meme -- a contraction of ``epic win''.

Later, some jonnes on ylilauta modified it, giving the ``e/b/in'' meme.

Then some child came here and, equating /g/ to /b/, started shitposting and replacing `b' with `g' in various words.
