The "end" of the "world"?

Some faggots are saying we gonna have 3 days of dark and no electricity in the end of the year. The stuff like this chick says in this video:

So, lets say some kind of EMP affects all earth, You know, magnetic poles reversing, magnetic shield lowering.... Every computer in earth is fried. No ASM, no compilers, no touhous, nothing electronic works anymore. What would you do for a living then????

My underground lab is sufficiently shielded to be safe from any EMP. It may take me a few minutes to switch out any fried solar panels, but my work would be otherwise unaffected.
