I was looking for the original "u wot m8" image macro in Google Images and accidentally typed "u wot m7". After that I searched for "u wot m1" through "u wot m9". All turned up results from Imgur and Meme Generator.

Proof that Reddit and 9GAG are, once again, ahead of 4chan and world4ch.
