Sorry for my ignorance, but what the fuck is a cis, what does it have to do with jews and why is it mentioned here so often?

Computer Information Systems
No, but really, I think it has something to do with transsexualism, misandrism, and the whole feminazi "check your privilege" shit. I've never seen it outside of /prog/, though I assume it's probably posted on social media sites a lot.

Cisgender is a term for people whose birth-assigned gender matches the one they wanted, i.e. over 95% of people.  In other words, ,,not a trannie''.

As a mathematically-minded scientist, I find it odd.  Some people (regardless of cis/trans status) really seem to make a fuss about masculinity and femininity (and more recently, queerness); frankly, I find such intense preoccupation about one's gender to be a gimmick, a waste of time, a counterproductive endeavor.  I'm not even sure who to hate more, ,,regular'' people who think that gender is a physical attribute that separates humans into two different yet symbiant subspecies (each with its own specific purpose that it should obey ,,by nature'', because fuck free will and intelligence), or the ,,irregular'' people who waste so many fucking braincycles on how to better leg hump their new gender setting.  Why so much mental masturbation over this simple concept that occupies such a little part of our lives (namely, picking a partner; that is, for non-pansexuals)?  What is to be gained?  Oh well, to each their own, I guess.  I suppose I'm not that much better, wasting my time here.  Hopefully you'll read this post and go to bed tonight slightly more enlightened than the night before.  Or not.

Please stop confusing hysterical, illogical, and idiotic female sexists for feminists, they're really not the same thing.

This sure explains a lot.

Yes, the fact that some people define themselves as `transsexual' instead of `avid photographer', `adventure lover' or `bookworm' worries me.
