RMS is Jewish by heritage, and is as atheistic as Richard Dawkings, Stephen Hawking or Steven Fry. RMS wants to preserve the planet for all people, the land and all the habitations. He has never used any language that even remotely implies he wants to destroy any people, his language implies that ALL individuals should learn to live as a peaceful community. He never separates himself as being a jew because he understands that religion doesn't matter: he is a person who wants to live with all people.
