The most awkward and embarrassing moment

After ifthar, when my family goes to pray, my mom and I pray in one room and my dad and brother pray in another. (Note that I'm a girl and this is my first time fasting for full days after hitting puberty) The other day my mom thought it would be a great idea for everyone to start praying together in the same room for once, starting the next day. Sadly, the next day i got my period sigh. After ifthar my brother goes "Ok, so are we all going to pray together today or what?" I look at my mom hoping she'd come up with an excuse that we wouldn't have to pray together. My dad gets up from the table and he's standing there waiting for my mom and I to come along. Panicked, my mom says, "Um you guys can... Er, go pray in the den and we'll pray seperately." My brother goes, "But didn't you say we should pray together? Let's go." Annoyed, my mom replies, "You guys go pray we can pray together some other time." Then she whispers to me (not very quietly I might add) "Go run upstairs and wait there until everyones done" That just might have been the most embarrassing moment I've experienced with my family...
TLDR: My dad and brother now know I'm not fasting because I'm on my period -_-
