everything will be rewritten in javascript in the future. it is only a matter of time. better get used to it. you probably just don't understand functional programming. you are probably just another java OOP drone who doesn't know anything about computers science.
first they said js couldn't support rich application (gmail, gmaps, asana, 280north, documentcloud)
then they said it couldn't be fast(2x as slow as java, 1/2 as much memory and code)
then they said it couldn't have threads or couldn't run on GPUs (webgl, webworkers, canvas)
