SICP Foreword

"Above all, I hope we don't become missionaries. Don't feel as if you're Bible salesmen. The world has too many of those already. What you know about computing other people will learn. Don't feel as if the key to successful computing is only in your hands. What's in your hands, I think and hope, is intelligence: the ability to see the machine as more than when you were first led up to it, that you can make it more."
So, explain to me why 90% of posts are "x language/architecture/paradigm/OS is shitx0rs xxDDD"?
For a board that loves SICP so much, you sure don't live by it.

Because 90% of the posts here are not made by people that love SICP so much. Duh.

I dont think most people here have read their SICP.

That's because their message is self-defeating (as it must be).

They can't tell people to go and write useful programs to show the world the way of Lisp through them because you can't write useful programs in Lisp.

So instead they tell people to jerk off to the beauty of Lisp alone, but obviously this kind of gets old after a while, as well as circlejerking, so some lispers begin to get off on finding some young impressionable kids in the dark alleys of the net, and teaching them their ways. No foreword can change the nature of these men.

Crash Bandicoot was the first game I have played in the Sony PlayStation and until today it's one of the best games in that platform.

Because of shit like >you can't write useful programs in Lisp. Which obviously requires rectification, now if this board wasn't filled with idiots like that, and if people didn't use obviously shit things (java/javashit, OOP, FIOC, etc) we wouldn't have to constantly tell them why they're wrong.
