node.js is the future

1. familiarity always wins
2. sharing code, even 10% of your application, rapes any other language feature
3. std library  is small and designed purely for talking to networks/fs, making it fun to work with, unlike say python or cpp
4. easy to get started with

Why Javascript is shit outside of browsers:

- Everything is in the same namespace
- No block scoping
- No class support
- No typing
- Verbose and ugly
- GC
