Unique Problem

Name: Anonymous 2012-08-08 7:57

Tee problem I have is an encrypted labtop HDD that got corrupted. I need to tear the info off the hard drive and get it onto the current HDD. The OS is corrupted so it won't boot up properly.
What I've tried:
-Booting the computer with the HDD in the computer(OS is corrupted, won't boot up at all.

-Diff labtop, plugged in the HDD via USB, but the computer won't detect the drive, as it has a pre-boot login system.

How should I go about this?

Thanks man, I died a little inside.
I do believe I need to emulate booting the HDD up on the computer, but I don't know the technical wording for it, so searching on google is going badly. Would that count as forensic recovery software?
