Programming is shit

I'm going to school for Computer Science, but after a year, i've realized programming is a shitty job and completely boring 99% of the time.

Unless i find myself something really interesting, i don't even put the effort into programming random toy things. It's just so boring.


Is this normal?

Then change your major.  Otherwise you're doomed to become like 99% of the population and despise you're job after a few years.  Then live out a miserable existence as a fat fuck that hates they're life.
