Programming is shit

I'm going to school for Computer Science, but after a year, i've realized programming is a shitty job and completely boring 99% of the time.

Unless i find myself something really interesting, i don't even put the effort into programming random toy things. It's just so boring.


Is this normal?

Oh well, it tends to be boring. Quite often. Still, even after yu graduate, no one forces you to program. If you pay attention, you can go to be a sysadmin or whatever. Hell, I personally plan to work as a progger for a maximum of 10 years after I graduate, after that - fuck the shit, I'm joining the army.
