I was told that this board is exclusionary to womyn so I have come here to join your "boys club".  I notice that you say a lot of sexist things so from now on, you better watch it.  Stop assuming that a person who is a programmer can't be of other genders.

They can try this as China has already tried something similar. We'll find out how well it works in two decades should they decide to pass this. In my opinion, they'll fail in this area just as China failed to prosper in it.

You need to learn what is a general statement and what is an absolute statement; it's not hard to find exceptions in any general statement. I study psychology (male/female/adult/child behaviours, decision making, habits, marketing, culture, society) as a salesman and the theory I've learned in this area has help me develop successful strategies. You need more education in the links between society, culture, psychology, and biology. This knowledge will satisfy the question of "why".
