Git detached head

I was working on a git branch and somehow I got into a "detached head" state. I forgot about it and I started making a bunch of changes, but when I realized that I was in detached head, I switched back to my master branch, and it said "Warning: you are leaving 1 commit behind, not connected to any of your branches"
Now these commits aren't any any git viz browsers or git log, so how do I access these commits???
