Little vs Big Endian

It's been a long time since we had a thread about this.

LITTLE:
- addresses don't change for the same value with different widths
- logical order for calculations

BIG:
- looks "right" to humans who are used to reading numbers backwards
- easier to determine the sign of a number

Which side are you on?

Big endian is an atavism.  It looks more ``natural'' to bigoted white people who were blinded by their Christian ``tradition'' into believing that the most significant digit is on the left end.
